The Tidewater Charity Tournament Committee (TCTC) together with its corporate partners and the Tidewater Homeowners Association present the South Carolina Senior Open at Tidewater during the first week in September. Proceeds from the five day event are donated to local area charities.
The Tournament is held at the award winning Tidewater Golf Club and Plantation in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Tidewater Golf Club is a championship 18-hole course recognized worldwide as one of America's finest layouts.
Spanning the Little River Neck peninsula from the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway to the tidal salt water marshes of Cherry Grove and the Atlantic Ocean, this unique course has been hailed as the place where man and nature harmoniously co-exist..
Amateurs are invited to play in the Pro/Am on September 1st. This popular event teams three amateurs with a PGA Professional from the Sunbelt Senior Tour.
"Golf Fest" is on Sunday, August 31st and the Professional Tournament runs from Tuesday, Sept.2nd to Thursday, Sept.4th.
Many of these pros have gone on to play on the PGA Champions Tour, last year we had 10 members of the Champions Tour play in our tournament.
Your entry fee includes coffee and donuts at the Tidewater Club House. Carts, greens fees, range balls, a tournament gift to commemorate your visit, and refreshments served on the course during play.
A complete sit down meal catered by Outback Steakhouse at the Awards Luncheon follows the Pro/Am, where engraved trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
The night before the Pro/Am you and your guest are invited to the Tournament Pairing Party at the Tidewater Club House. Meet the Pros and enjoy the food and drinks.

We are so sure you will enjoy playing in the Pro/Am, that I will refund the nondeductible portion of your entry fee if you are not happy with the way you were treated.
I have played in hundreds of tournaments and have never seen a guarantee like this!!!.
