The Tidewater Charity Tournament Committee (TCTC) together with its corporate partners and the Tidewater Homeowners Association present the Tidewater Charity Golf Tournament on Labor Day, September 6th, 2010. Proceeds from the event are donated to local area charities.
The Tournament is held at the award winning Tidewater Golf Club and Plantation in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Tidewater Golf Club is a championship 18-hole course recognized worldwide as one of America's finest layouts.
Spanning the Little River Neck peninsula from the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway to the tidal salt water marshes of Cherry Grove and the Atlantic Ocean, this unique course has been hailed as the place where man and nature harmoniously co-exist..
The Entry Fee this year has been reduced by $100 (see entry form for details) Everyone is feeling the effects of the current difficult financial times. Either we adapt to these conditions or the tournament will suffer. Our charities depend on this event and they are our number one priority.
We have restructured the tournament to maintain the highest level of fun for our amateurs at an affordable price. We regret having to drop the professional part of the tournament and Golf Fest this year. It was a decision to reallocate resources used for the Pro's to benefit the amateurs players.
Amateurs are invited to play in this year's outstanding charity event. The the moment you arrive at Tidewater, you know this will be a special Golf Tournament. " We have structured the tournament to ensure every player enjoys the day with us", said Bill Pearson Tournament Director.
This year we will have a Tournament Reception at the Tidewater Clubhouse for players and their guest, On Course Refreshments by Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Firehouse Subs, The traditional after golf Awards Luncheon by Outback Steakhouse, and more.
